It’s easy to overlook the essential details of the tasks that make up our everyday success; the small things we learned early on like tying our shoes or riding a bike. As technology moves us faster and faster into the future each day, we find ourselves further and further away from the fundamentals. That’s why IBSC is very excited to roll out a new 1-day “IBSC Banking Essentials” class.

Tentative topics will include:

• The Important Role of Community Banks
• How a bank makes its money
• A review of Deposit, Loan and Operations Terminology
• Addressing Security Concerns
• Touching on Bank Reports and Measurements
• And More!

Designed primarily for entry level employees, this nuts-and-bolts class will be taught by two IBSC Board members. It is designed to promote and refresh a baseline understanding of banking essentials and professional concepts. We especially encourage our members to send new employees and emerging leadership to attend this informative program, but all are welcome. Lunch will be provided.
