Education and Events

IBSC Education

The Independent Banks of South Carolina conduct seminars and host an annual convention to enhance communication with South Carolina community bankers. Through ICBA, we help facilitate both employee and director training and development, webinars on current regulatory issues, and programs on important banking topics.

Webinars:

IBSC is excited to partner with Financial Education & Development to provide quality webinars for all bankers including but not limited to: Debt Collection, Audit Compliance, Director, Human Resources, Quarterly Emerging Leader, Call Report, and Cyber.

Serving community bankers for 37 years, Financial Education & Development, Inc. and the Community Bankers Webinar Network currently partner with 32 community bankers associations to deliver quality webinar training for bankers in all 50 states. The synergy of these relationships allows us to successfully deliver more than 130 webinars annually, covering critical issues for every level of the financial institution.

Peer Group Meetings:

There are two monthly Peer Group meetings that provide a forum to discuss key issues an learn best practices from fellow bankers. Our members pride themselves on serving their communities.

The Leaders of Tomorrow:

The Leaders of Tomorrow program focuses on the development and education of the next generation of community bankers. Each year funds are raised to support the initiatives of our young leaders.
